SOURCE: DALLAS DOING GOOD

Lumedia Musicworks will launch its 2021-22 season with the debut of its latest Stories installment about composer Wilhelmine von Bayreuth of Prussia.

The popular Stories series began last season by telling the stories of various female composers of music composed before 1750. Each episode includes a comedic short film produced by Lumedia’s ensemble and concludes with a performance of her work. Von Bayreuth (1709-1758) was the older sister of Frederick the Great.

There is no charge for admission. The link will be active from 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 10, until 11:59 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 30.
