Live Concerts
Live Concerts
At Lumedia Musicworks, we're driven by a mission to reinvigorate early music, bridging the gap between the early baroque era and today. Audiences have proclaimed Lumedia to be “A phenomenon to be reckoned with” with programming “that enriches our lives every time.”
Interactive Musicworks:
Senior Outreach
Interactive Musicworks - Stories in Assisted Living & Memory Care Centers Outreach Program
Seniors are a disproportionately growing part of the population whose quality of life, according to research, can be improved and influenced by musical activities.
Elaine Scholly and LM Musicians travel on-location to senior centers across DFW to present their STORIES documentaries. These documentaries explore the underrepresented works of the first distinguished female composers.
Ms Scholly, a community educator and advocate for dementia and Alzheimer’s awareness, facilitates discussion following the film's viewing. The program concludes with a baroque instrument show-and-tell, and question and answer session.
Short Films
Short Film Creations
“While our live concerts immerse local audiences in the depths of this rich musical heritage, our film productions stretch that reach even further, translating these works for the modern viewer.”
Our short films are released at live concert events in the Dallas area. They are utilized in our own outreach programming, and are shared with DFW children’s hospital in-house television network at no cost. Additionally, we offer these films to local senior centers and music educators, internationally, free of charge.
