Lumedia receives $5k gift to match
The early classical music ensemble will receive an anonymous gift of $5K to match by midnight on May 15.
DALLAS - An angel donor is challenging the Lumedia community of supporters to step up additional funds to support Lumedia Musicworks’ live concerts. “Their content is unlike any other organization,” said the funder, who requests to remain anonymous. “This gift is targeted toward bringing them back to the live stage.” The ensemble must match $5k by May 15 to receive all funds. .

“We’ve grown tremendously in the past few years and have fans worldwide due to our online presence, yet we rely primarily on grassroots support,” said Julianna Emanski, Lumedia’s founder and artistic director. “We have returned to live performing this spring, and are thrilled to have this anonymous gift to support our commitment to live concerts.”
Lumedia demonstrates exceptional quality of programming through awards received from outside the classical music industry. Their short films have won national and international awards at film festivals, and are programmed into weekly broadcasts in Dallas pediatric hospitals. The ensemble supports a vast array of local Dallas-Fort Worth based artists including instrumentalists, vocalists, directors, actors, videographers, sound engineers, photographers, and props/costume designers.
