Lumedia Musicworks Announces Auditions for Instrumentalists and Vocalists

Auditions will be held June 23-24, 2022 in Dallas, Texas.

DALLAS - Lumedia Musicworks announces upcoming auditions for violinists, violists and vocalists. The Dallas-based baroque ensemble is known for their unique concert programming, and cinematic short films and documentaries.

Lumedia, which will launch its sixth season in September, performs on historical reproductions of instruments from the baroque, renaissance, and medieval periods at historical pitch. The core team is highly trained in historically informed performance practices, and the musician roster comprises first-class artists, currently from across Texas. 

Since 2017, Lumedia Musicworks has displayed an equal presence in-person and online, building an international audience. The ensemble’s digital productions include silent film, mini-documentaries, historical film footage, poetry and creative use of venues. Lumedia Musicworks has been locally and internationally recognized. Recent awards include:
