Bringing Grand Total of $1,468,000 in Grants Made Since Early Days of Pandemic
SOURCE: TACA
DALLAS – TACA – The Arts Community Alliance – announced today that 42 arts groups are recipients of TACA Resiliency Grants in the program’s third round of funding. The unrestricted funding was created to support Dallas arts organizations demonstrating resiliency in creatively fulfilling their mission despite the challenges presented by the COVID-19 landscape. Third round grants range from $3,500-17,000, and total $317,500.
“The past year has taught us many lessons about resilience in the arts community, and I’ve never been prouder of our organization and our many supporters for their overwhelming generosity in response to the pandemic,” said Terry D. Loftis, Donna Wilhelm Family President & Executive Director. “We are honored to make a third round of TACA Resiliency Fund grants to 42 outstanding organizations, as we celebrate their noteworthy missions in the midst of a historically significant fundraising year for our organization.”
The grants are the cornerstone of the TACA Resiliency Initiative (TRI) announced last July. Among the grantees announced today are six first-time recipients. Including today’s distribution, TACA has awarded a total of $753,500 in Resiliency Grants funding. Among third round grantees, 62% of funds were awarded to small- and mid-sized organizations with operating budgets of less than $1 million.
